Watching CTHD in Mandarin is better. I may not understand Chinese or Mandarin, but I do know that a person's emotion can be heard through the voice also. I've never been a fan of dubbing, even when I started watching Anime, I still preferred the original language with subtitles rather than seeing a dubbed version.

One other thing too is the fact that somethings are lost when movies are translated and dubbed. Film editors usually try to fit in the words spoken with the movement of the lips of each actor, thus a great amount of dialogue is lost. I know that Ang and company did a great job in translating and dubbing the movie, but somehow, I still feel that CTHD wouldn't be a complete movie if you don't see it in its original form. Of course, in my case, that includes the subtitles.

couldn't help but get suprised but a lot of people that I've been talking to lately seem to like the dubbed version better. i don't particularly know why? All these people keep saying is that the lines were better than with the subtitles. And these aren't people who aren't used to watching movies with subtitles too. I just don't know what to make of it. what do you guys think?
